Tiny Mobile Hubs
Join us to build Mobile Hubs for Internally Displaced Camps to enable residents become empowered through the use of computers

THE DIGITAL WORLD IS DEVELOPING WITH SUCH FORCE AND SUCH A PACE THAT KIDS, YOUNG WOMEN AND YOUTHS LIVING IN INTERNALLY DISPLACED HOMES SHOULD NOT BE LEFT BEHIND
LET’S TAKE THEM WITH US
We started the project 1000 innovation hub to support women and youths with skills required to win in the global space. While we are not giving up on the people who believe in us during this COVID-19 pandemic, we thought it would be a good step to move closer to the communities we serve, empower them with these skills and do our best to keep participants and volunteers safe
In January 2018, The Refoundation and IO technologies embarked on a mission to solve one of the myriads of problems at the camps by training the children and youths on digital and basic computer skills. So far, we have trained over 150 Children (ages 5 – 11) and 100 Youths (ages 14- 23) on Scratch, the use of Microsoft Office software like Word and Excel. Unfortunately, the emergence of coronavirus has made this task difficult
IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO TRAIN A CHILD. WE UNDERSTAND THE IMPACT OF COLLABORATION AND WITH YOUR HELP WE CAN EMPOWER OVER 1,000 CHILDREN, WOMEN AND YOUTH WITH DIGITAL SKILLS. VOLUNTEER OR PARTNER WITH US TO MAKE THIS PROJECT A SUCCESS
